"Blog Posts" element showing image code

I'm using the "Blog Posts" element in the editor to display a list of blog posts on a page. However, if I have an image left-aligned at the very beginning of the post the code will display in the post description (see below). Is there any way to have the description ignore any image code? Using an excerpt didn't help.

Hi there,
It looks like you're using a plugin to output those posts - you may need to check with their support team, as GP has no control over that output.
