    Hi guys,

Could you help with the following:

I would like to display previews of certain blog posts on selected pages.
    I use Sections.

I really like the columns layout of the blog page – the headers, author and first line of content are aligned against each other, so looks really neat. I would like to reproduce that within a section.

How can I do it two ways:

    1. Display most recent blog post previews in a category (or with a tag) within a page section (let’s say, most recent posts within ‘client’ category in 2 neat rows and 3 columns)?

    2. Manually paste certain blog post previews into a page section (same – 2 rows, 3 columns for example)? For this manual option ideally my goal is this: https://www.priorilegal.com/blog as a section within a page. See how there are two calls to action among the blog posts (blue squares with text)?

    Many thanks!

    Hi there,

I can highly recommend this other Plugin by Tom, which allows you to create different post lists and display them anywhere using shortcodes. Which is perfect for what you need:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-show-posts/

There is also a premium version which adds some additional functionality, but the free version is more than adequate for what you need:

    https://wpshowposts.com

The second part, inserting a Call To Action or other content is do-able with the WP Show Posts plugin but would require some Custom code to achieve it. Ill have a look to see if we have anything to hand.
