Blog (post) settings

Hi!
I just downloaded Vinyasa from the site library and started to get comfortable with all the settings. I wanted to remove the date and author of single blog posts, but the checkboxes didn't seem to work (so I found this workaround already, https://generatepress.com/forums/topic/blog-post-shows-date-and-author-despite-the-correct-settings/)
I am still having the same issues if I would like to see how the "Read more" button works - but it never shows up.
Showing the last 2 blog posts on the homepage, as it is predefined in the template - how do I add/remove the blog author/date here?

(I have already found the settings for the separate WP Show Post plugin.)
No problems :)
Go to Dashboard > Appearance > Elements and look for the Blog Post Headers - edit that and remove the line where the Post date and Author are added. That meta will return to the default position which can then be disabled via the customizer.

Hi there,
The post in the original Vinyasa template has its text inside a container which prevents the excerpt from being generated automatically. (it's a WP bug)
If you publish your own posts in which the first paragraph is not in a container, then the read more button should work.
