Blog post image upload size

Hello,
I have GeneratePress and recently got the premium addons. Sort of new to wordpress and how the blog image/featured image thing works.
I see that there is a recommended size for uploading a site logo, but I do not see what size to upload images that will be used for blog posts. Where can I find this info? This is probably very simple, but I still don't know where to find it.

Hi there,
It totally depends on your design needs. In "Customize > Blog > Post Images" you can choose the alignment and width/height of your featured images.
So if they were floating to the left or right, they would be smaller - maybe square.
If they're above or below the title, they would be larger.
