Thanks for having such a great WP Theme!

I have a client who wants to be able to add a list of downloadable PDFs that show up on their posts page. I tried it using the blog page header, but I run into two problems with that. One, the page header image no longer appears. Two, it looks odd having the PDF list show up above the blog content. Is there an elegant way to add a section below the blog page content that will be user-friendly once I send it out to the client to maintain?

I know there are plugins that would allow me use shortcodes in a static page to show posts within the page, but then the CSS that I get from setting Settings>Reading>Posts Page goes away, and the client has already fallen in love with it.

Maybe a way to add an after-content widget to the blog page?

    Hi Veronica,

Maybe try the after content hook?

Then use a conditional tags to make it on blog page only:

Let me know if this helps.
