Blog page spacing on mobile & desktop

Hi there! My blog page on mobile and desktop doesn't have any paddling along the edges, it runs up to the screen border. I've looked all over but can't find a way to change this. I'm sure I'm missing something simple. Thanks for any advice!
Hi there,
Looks like you have the contained content container applied:
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/content-container/#contained
Likely with a layout element:
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/layout-element-overview/#content-1
Let me know if this helps :)
Hey Leo, ah, I do see where I had that layout element set. I just turned that layout width element to draft so it's not on anymore, but now the blog page content is wider than the other pages' content. When I set the layout to 1200px, it gets rid of the padding. Currently it looks good on mobile with that old element unpublished, but when I drag the screen smaller (As if tablet size), it loses its padding entirely, and when I drag it wide, it's wider than the left and right corners of the primary nav stuff. Curious how I might fix this width issue without losing the padding, and wondering where the padding goes for the tablet sizes in its current state. Thanks again!
Hi Jessica,
Can you go to Customizing > Layout > Container, check what's the content padding you've set for desktop?
Let me know :)
I wasted 4 long nights trying to fix this issue on my website, thank you very much!!
Wow!! It was that easy, d'oh! I swear I tried that, but maybe before I deactivated the element that was applied to the blog page. That fixed it - added 20px of padding on left and right (they were both 0) and it looks good now. Thanks for your help!
You are welcome :)
Glad it's working now!
