Blog page shows all my posts, not the limit set up

Hi! I'm trying to limit the total number of posts on my blog page. I limited the total posts in "Settings > Reading > Blog pages show at most" with 10 and other numbers but the page shows them all nevertheless. At first the website shows the number I selected (for example 10, or 4) but then all the posts appear. Thanks!

That's a WordPress option so it should definitely work.
I would recommend disabling all plugins and custom functions to make sure there are no conflicts.

Hi there,
you have the Infinite Scroll option enabled in Customizer > Layout > Blog. Disable that feature so it doesn't auto load more posts on scroll.
