[Support request] Blog page header

Hi,

I just wanted to point out that it seems a bit confusing that whilst page header options for the “blog” page (the page you set in Settings > Reading > Posts page) are configured in customizer, still when you go to edit that page in WordPress backend the page header metabox still appears there even though what you set up there has no effect.

Nothing major, but still an inconsistency, I think.

Hi Luca,

Thanks for the suggestion – I’ll see what I can do.

This is a WordPress thing, if a page is set to be the blog, all meta boxes on that page stop working (not only GP).

I agree it causes some confusion though, I’m on it! 🙂
