Blog options under Layout missing

Hello!
I was trying to open up the Blog section under Layout in order to activate the "display posts in columns" option, but there seems to be nothing there, except for the "content type" dropdown menu. This is odd, since I have GP installed on another website and this section works as intended over there.
Any ideas what could cause it?
