Blog Issues

I just downloaded GP Premium today, and at first, when I selected my static homepage, I couldn't get it to link to my Posts page, even though I set it correctly in Settings/Reading. It kept going to a deleted page and said "Nothing Found." Then I reset everything, and now I have nowhere in Settings/Reading to even set a blog page, and now my homepage is a blog.
Can I uninstall and reinstall? I've spent hours trying to fix this issue. Thank you.
Hi there,
I'm not sure I follow what you wish to achieve. Can you elaborate a bit more on what you were trying to do?
It kept going to a deleted page and said “Nothing Found.”
If you've set the Homepage: and the Posts page: on Settings > Reading to a static page, this static page will NOT display its contents and will be the blog page of the site.
"Nothing Found" will display on a Blog page IF there are no posts on your site.
Then I reset everything, and now I have nowhere in Settings/Reading to even set a blog page, and now my homepage is a blog.
This is the default behavior. All WordPress front pages defaults to a blog index page.
I deleted all files and started over--working now. Thanks.
Thanks for letting us know. Glad you got it sorted. :D
