[Resolved] Blog Archive Page Styles

Hi There,

I’ve duplicated an existing page and set it to the blog archive page in Reading -> Post Page.
Although it’s not displaying the elements in the page I duplicated – can you help me find which step I missed here?

Hi there,

the Reading -> Post Page. has a special place in WP. The page you assign to it becomes just a placeholder for the URL and Title, and it will show the WordPress blog.

If you want to keep the static page content, then don’t make it your your Reading -> Post Page.

Ah OK I wasn’t aware of that THANKS David.

I’ve now updated and looking how I wanted it although I can’t see how I can display all blog post within the Query Loop – I’d like this page to be the blog archive page, so will show all posts with pagination, is that possible in the way I’m approaching it? Link in private info.

EDIT: I added just 300 as the POSTS PER PAGE to the query block but I guess this isn’t the best way of handling it?

ANOTHER EDIT: I just discovered the Pagination in the Tool bar of the Query Block!

Yeah, don’t add 300 lol – the Pagination block is the fix 🙂
