Hi,
I am trying to layout a blog archive page that mirrors the design on the link below where the meta data is all on one line.
My current layout is on the second image where the meta data is all on different lines. The image is a background image dynamically pulling in the posts featured image.
I need the post meta data to be inline as shown in the design. I see that there is an option to set this in the container but when I do it moves everything in the container inline. I think that I need the meta data (not the post title or excerpt) in its own container but I can't figure out how to do this.

The issue that I am facing IS actually in my archive content template that I am building in Elements. If I select 'Inline post meta items' then everything in the container is placed inline including the post title and excerpt etc. H
How do I overcome this?

Then put the title and excerpt in their own containerblocks, do not share containerwith the inline post meta items.

That is what I tried to do but the content on the left hand side drops down and does not sit alongside the container on the right. See the attached image. How do I get the containers on the left to stay in line with the single container on the right?
Your structure is not the same as the one I built.
Can you take a screenshot of the structure tree of your element like the one I attached:

Thanks for your help with this - I appreciate it.
I have been messing around trying to sort it and have a working version. The two attached image show the final design and the structure that I used. It looks like I did a more complicated structure than the one in your example but it seems to work.
Did I overcomplicate it?

Ha ha - Thought I had made it more difficult than it needed to be.
Thanks - I have recreated it using your structure and it works great. I figured it was better to do it properly so I can refer back in future. It was a worthwhile exercise to learn more about how to layout Generateblocks.

Although there're only 4 blocks from GenerateBlocks, but it can create all kinds of layout :)
