Hi,

How do I make all blocks (page header block, content block and sidebar block) transparently?
Only the background of the blocks, not the text on the blocks. Do you know what I mean?

Make a 4px x 4 px 50%-70% tranparent png. Works very well.

Could you give me some more information about this? How, where for example.
Thanks!

Hi Kevin,

Chad is right (thanks!) - you need to create a semi-transparent PNG image - 2x2 or 4x4.

Then, add it as the background image for all of the elements you want to be transparent.

You'll have to remove any background colors you have set as well, so it's only the transparent image being used as the background.

Do I have to make it in Photoshop? 4px x 4px is very small, isn't it??
And do I have to set opacity in PhotoShop to 50-70%?

The image repeats horizontally and vertically, so you could even do 2x2 and it will cover whatever element you're applying it to.

That's correct - you could also use something like Gimp, which is free.
