Block Hero Image on Category page

Hi there,

I have managed to create page hero block elements that appear in various locations on my site, however I am having trouble making one appear on a WordPress category page. I wonder if it is because in other areas of the site, the featured image is used, but on category pages there is no featured image. Instead, I uploaded a suitable image when I created the block element, however, this does not appear on the category page.

Any help most appreciated. Thank you!

Hi there,

Can you first clear and disable your caching plugin to make sure that this isn't a caching issue?

If that doesn't work, can you let me know the display rule you are using for the category page hero?

Hi Leo,

So, it turned out I had set the hero image to appear on the whole post category, rather than that particular category archive. It is now appearing in the right place, however it is showing the featured image of the first post as the hero image, rather than the specific image I wish. How can I make it so that a specific image is shown here? I uploaded one in the background settings when I created the block element, but it is not visible.

Can you make sure the dynamic background option is set to None?
