Block Element Options: can't choose a Block type

Sorry if this has been answered before or is a GeneraBlocks question, but:
I use Generatepress Pro and the basic Generateblocks plugin.
I want to show a certain Block after the content of every page. I found this: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/block-element-overview/
But when I try to do this I don't get the Block Element Options I can't choose a block type (I guess I should chose Hook there). The options are just not there. So now I am unsure if this is possible with Generatepress Pro or do I need GenerateBlocks Pro as well?
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/block-element-overview/ this suggests Generatepress Pro is sufficient but maybe I am wrong.

can you make sure you're running the latest version of GeneratePress theme = 3.1 and GeneratePress Premium Plugin = 2.1
And you only need to the Free GenerateBlocks for them to work.
Hi David, yes I do. I found the options, they were in the right sidebar and not underneath the Block editor like here: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/block-element-overview/
But it is working fine now :)
