Block element editor width

Hi
When creating a block element, there is an input field called 'Editor width'.
It doesn't seem to do anything when inputting a value there (frontend or backend).
Could you point me to some documentation, or explain what is this suppose to do?

The Editor width only effects the back end in the editor. Not sure why it doesn't work on your end.
The width you set gives you a better idea how the front end will work, shot a small clip:
