Block Editor Full Width Issue
5 replies · Started by Hassan on February 2, 2022
Hi,
I was wondering if you could help me with this; when I add a "new page" and set "content container" to "full width", the blocks/containers still show as if they are boxed and not full width as they used to be. The layout is also "full width" with a "container width" of 1200 (when I publish the page, it is shown as full width and it's good). But I want to see it in the block editor as full width too. How do I fix this, so the pages look full width as I design them?
Thank you
Hi there,
see Tom's reply here:

Let us know if that resolves the issue.
Thank you, David. Can I add the code using the shortcode-only feature of "Header Footer Code Manager - HFCM" plugin (since I'm using it)? Or should I use "Simple CSS" for this? Also, do I need to delete the code after the next GP update is released?

No - it won't work in that plugin.
This article explains how to add it:

If you're not using a child theme, then install the Code Snippets pluign.
Yes, you can remove it after the next update.
