Blank lines at beginning of each page

I noticed that my sitemap isn't working and was giving me this:
"error on line 4 at column 6: XML declaration allowed only at the start of the document"
Looking on view-source I noticed that the first couple lines of each page are blank which I think is causing the sitemap issue.
How do I remove these blank lines in theme editor files?

Thanks Leo - I asked a friend and he figured it out. The error actually didn't give the correct line (which was lines 1-3).
