Hey friends,

please check out this page:

As you can see all images are aligned left but the caption is centered. When I check the source code I can see that images should align centered, but they are not.

<figure class="wp-block-image aligncenter size-large"><img src="https://www.kagels-trading.de/wp-content/uploads/doji-candlestick-chartmuster.png" alt="doji-candlestick-chartmuster" class="wp-image-100976"/><figcaption>Doji Candlestick Chartmuster</figcaption></figure>

I have this issue not only on this page. Please help. Thank you

Hi Karsten,

GP has no control over the WP core image block, so it's likely not a theme issue.

I checked the page, it seems your site is missing WP blocks CSS.

Do you have any custom function that might've removed the WP blocks' CSS?

If not, try to disable all your plugins, and let me know if the issue is still there.

Hello Ying,

thank you for your response.

On further investigation it becomes clear that this issue comes from Thrive Leads plugin.

The developers are already working on this issue.

Update on July 27: This is not a Thrive Leads issue.

Best,

Karsten

In the meantime I have two more issues:

Gutenberg Columns and not stacked on mobile view. Please check here:

YT Videos are cut short on mobile view. Please check here

Important: When I switch to Wordpress Theme 2022 all this three issues disappear. So we can suppose it is a compatibility issue form GeneratePress Theme ?

Please check and let me know.

Hi there,

have you tried clearing the browser caches as i cannot see the issue regarding the columns or the video ?

Hi David,

yes, browser caches are cleared.

Here you can see all three issue on one page:

1. Gutenberg columns are not stacked on mobile.

2. Image is not centered, but image caption is.

3. Video on mobile is cut short.

When switching to Wordpress Theme 2022 these issues disappear.

Please check. Thank you

Hi Fernando,

if I deactivate Thrive Leads Plugin, the issue disappears.

I already talked with Thrive Support: This is what they said:

"Our developer investigated the issue and said it's a compatibility issue, so problems might occur when using our products with GeneratePress. Could you please contact the theme developer and ask if they could have a solution from their end?"

Our scope of support does not include contacting third-party services on behalf of our customers. In addition, we are not clients for these third-party services. When contacting these third-party services, they might require information that only the customer can provide, such as license keys for validating support. The fastest and efficient way is for you to contact GeneratePress directly.
We are open for communications if their developer reaches out. However, for issues caused by other plugins, we have to point you to their developers.

------------

When I activate core Wordpress Theme the issue disappears even with using Thrive Leads plugin.

So please check and advise.

So WP isn't loading the styles that GP requires for the correct layout.
Can you check with Thrive, if they are loading any block supports that would disable the core block-library styles?

wp-includes/css/dist/block-library/style.min.css

This issue is finally solved. Here is the answer from Thrive:

Hi Kagels,
Thank you for patiently waiting.
We have confirmation from our developers that a fix for this issue will be included in our next plugin update.
If you wish to have the fix earlier than the update we would need FTP details for them to apply it directly to your site.

Glad to hear they found the issue! Thanks for letting us know.

you are welcome, David
