Best way to display styled/formatted paragraphs in posts?

I'd like to display styled/formatted paragraphs in posts, but was wondering what's the best way to go about it (assuming I need 30-50 per post).

Here's a specific use case:
List post of the top 50 recipes for a specific dish. Each of the recipes has an image and a blurb of text underneath it. The text underneath the image is what I want styled (background colors and accent borders to make it pop).

Some of my list posts are going to be pretty chunky, so definitely don't want to impact site speed (if possible).

Hi there,

is this on a Single Post ? Or is this on an archive page ?

It would be on a single post!

One approach is to create a class for these “list posts” and target and alter them through one "global" CSS.

If you have GenerateBlocks Pro and you’ll be using GB blocks, you can also try Global Styles: https://docs.generateblocks.com/article/global-styles/

If I use the GB block method, would I just need to use the Headline Block -> change to P for paragraphs?

And then I can set the global styling for that block + reuse it as much as I want?

Yes, you can use a Headline Block and turn it to a paragraph, and reuse your global style as much as you want.
