    Hello!

I’m new to GeneratePress and so far love it!

I’m wondering what the best solution is for using a graphical logo and keeping the site title and site tagline?

I’m assuming there may be an advantage to SEO by keeping the site title/tagline instead of replacing it with an image.

What is the best solution you have seen? Should I use a background image on the header and simply disable it for mobile/tablets?

    Or use a navigation logo?

    Hi there,

you can add a logo and keep the site title and tag line via the Customiser > Site Identity. Both will display 🙂

It is really personal preference. For me i like to use an SVG logo that incorporates any text i want in my header logo. I then create a separate stripped down logo for my Sticky Navigation and Mobile Header.

From an SEO perspective the Site Title and tag line will be held in the <title> tag for your home page so it will still get indexed.
