beginning of all posts the 2 sentences over lap

when I click on my blog page the posts look ok. I have been adjusting the heading on the first post. when I open a single post my 2 top sentences are overlapping. as I said I have been trying to fix the issue, but it's not working. What is wrong?
I contacted my host support and this is their response.
There may be some internal issue with the theme as we just tried adding the CSS code, but it did not work. We suggest you contact the theme provider and ask them to have a look into this, as that will certainly help.

Try increasing the line-height property in Customizer > Typography > Headings > H2.
i did that. so do add the line-height or do I just retry the setting
Sure you can try resetting it first and see if you like the default better :)
ok, I just went in and tried the line-height setting and for some odd reason, it is now working.
