before_header element link not working because of hamburger menu (mobile)

I'm using the before_header element feature to add phone # or links and I position the hamburger menu to be in align with that before_header element but when I try to click on a phone # or link the slide out menu appears instead. Please help. It is on multiple websites that I am building.

It's actually built for something like what you are trying to achieve.
