[Resolved] Basic question: Best size header background

Hi Tom,

I tried to find it in the forum, but maybe it’s too simple.

a) What is the best size for a background header image (when I set the width to 1100px)?

b) How can I change the height of the header image?

I asked pretty much the same thing a few months ago. The height adjusts to whatever size image you use. The width just needs to match the width of your content or header code.

Laura is right (thanks!) – the header image can be the width of your container or larger as it will size down to your container width. The height will be proportional to the width 🙂
