Base Color Won't Chage

Hey Tom,

For some reason I can't change/edit the BASE color from the Customize section. It's set to white. The only way to do it is directly from the CSS file....

body {
  background-color: #anycolor;
}

This weird behavior happens only for the BASE color. CONTENT COLOR, SIDEBAR, ETC. they work just fine. Is it ok to modify it from the css file?

Hey Tom,

I've tried also to change fonts and same thing. I can't do it. And again, this is only happening for the Body. It's like I can't edit from the customize section the BODY.

I wouldn't modify the CSS file - you'll lose your changes when you update.

When you make a change, save and view your site - is the change there? Is it just the live preview that's not working?

Can you try #1 on this page?: https://generatepress.com/knowledgebase/debugging/
