I was after a banner under the main menu.. like this position of this “Free WordPress Theme.. > http://www.generatepress.com/

Is it possible to place a banner or image under the menu, above the body content?

Absolutely!

If you want an image only, you can use the “Featured Image” option native with WordPress.

If you want more options, our Page Header addon is what you’re after: http://www.generatepress.com/downloads/generate-page-header/
