Banner Rotation

Hi,
I need to add banners from advertisers on my blog (I am using READ theme) and each post shall have rotating banner ads from different sponsors.
My concern is the use of plugin with too much code that will make pages heavy as I don't want to use my GTMetrix score of "A".
Can you recommend "light" plugin that will allow me to add rotating banners to the post pages?
Thank you.
Hi Vladimir,
To clarify, are you referring to adding Advertisements through a slider? What advertisements are you adding? If it's Google, for instance, it's not allowed: https://support.google.com/adsense/thread/4983402/can-ad-units-be-placed-in-a-slider-on-my-website?hl=en
I'm not sure if it's not allowed for other ads as well.
If it's just images, our usual recommendation would be Smart Slider 3.
See: https://smartslider3.com/blog/generatepress-slider/
If you’d want something more lightweight, you might want to test and check out some other plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/search/carousel/
It might be good to ask for suggestions in our GP Community as well: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1113359788719597
Hi,
I want to add IMAGES like you see on this post on the old website: https://blog.mtel.ba/youtube-produzuje-trajanje-licencirane-muzike-u-shorts-klipovima/ or https://blog.mtel.ba/google-ce-nuditi-savjete-kako-da-ustedimo-energiju/
It is on the sidebar.
Will Smart Slider 3 work for this? Sliders are usually posted on the top of the posts/pages. SmartSlider 3 looks like overkill. no?
I see.
Yes, it might be overkill. We don't have a specific recommendation for a lightweight plugin for Sliders though. Here is another article I found which could help: https://wp-rocket.me/blog/fastest-wordpress-image-slider/
If you want something really lightweight, perhaps you can look for a custom code to create one from scratch. Example: https://www.w3schools.com/w3css/w3css_slideshow.asp
