[Resolved] "Backslash" removed from Title

Hi Tom and GP Support,

I’m seeing an issue where the backslash “\” are removed from the Title. For example, when I input this Title in WordPress Editor as well as in AIO SEO Pack Title text box:

Fix “Can not find script file C:\WINDOWS\run.vbs” at Logon

becomes

Fix “Can not find script file C:WINDOWSrun.vbs” at Logon

I’ve posted this at WordPress AIO Seo Pack support forums and they’re looking into it. I’m wonder if Themes have a part to play in this? They asked which theme I was using.

Addendum: WordPress Editor Title text retains the original title when I edit the post next time, but SEO Title shows it with backslashes truncated.

The theme just uses the core WordPress the_title() function to display the title, so it’s most likely WordPress or one of the plugins doing it.

Update: Folks at AIO SEO Pack have fixed this issue.. in the upcoming version, that would be released this week.
