I just updated to the newest version of the premium plugin and now my background image is tiling instead of showing full screen. The full screen option is checked. Can you help? Thanks! https://www.iwantoverflow.com/

    Hi there,

    Looks normal to me? https://s12.postimg.org/pj1t2oz3h/2017-08-14_1841.png

Try clearing cache and see if it fixes the problem.

I tried clearing the cache and still doesn’t work for me. I tried on 3 different browsers. Can you try the link again and see if it’s still the same for you?

Yup tried on Chrome and Firefox and both look good to me.

    Maybe try incognito mode?

I tried that too. Have no idea what it could be. Is it possible to roll back to the older version of the plugin to see if that fixes it?

Any chance you can post a screenshot of what you’re seeing? It looks normal to me as well.

I’m seeing a repeating background instead of a full screen one.

    Hmm, that is very strange.

You can see the code at the bottom right here, telling it to cover and not repeat: https://www.screencast.com/t/XuZnlzLm0

I also stretched your site out over two screens, and couldn’t get any repeating.

Do you have anyone else you can get to check it out on different computers? Just want to see if we’re working with something specific to your computer.

I did notice you have query strings removed, which makes browser caching extra aggressive.

When I turn off the remove query strings plugin the tiling goes away for me. Thanks for catching that! Weird that it didn’t happen until updating the plugin and theme to the newest version.

Sounds like some aggressive browser caching in that case – weird that incognito mode still showed you the cached files.

I believe the CSS that controls the background image cover was moved into a static CSS file in the update, which would explain the issue as that file was cached for you.

I cleared the browser cache and restarted the browser and still saw the tiling across multiple browsers. Might have something to do with me using Cloudflare… not sure if they are storing a cached version too. Regardless, I turned off the plugin for now until I can sort everything out. Thanks for your help!
