Background Image footer troubles

Hi,
My name is Brian Thompson. I am wondering is it possible to get a parrallax view for a background image for the footer? I have added a background image and have put it in as no repeat cover fixed sort of works but is there a better way of doing it?

That's actually the best way to do it. GP's parallax script won't work as there isn't any content below the footer:
