Background Gradient no longer works

Dear all,

Background Gradient hasn't been working for me for some time now. Previously I could add a color shadow to an image.

An example is the header of https://tinyurl.com/y426hazn.

I miss this feature, do you know if there's another way to do this with the latest update?

Hi there,

That gradient does seem to be working.

It's true that since GB 1.1.0 that the gradient doesn't overlay the image - it stays in the background. We've added an option in 1.2.0 to have the gradient overlay the image again.

Hi there,

set your Background Image > Selector to Pseudo Element.
Then edit your Gradient and select Overlay on background image

That option will be in version 1.2 which hasn't been released yet unfortunately.
