[Support request] background color of all pages

I have a site at Fourway.michianait.net. I would like to change the background color of all of the pages. I tried using the colors section of the customizer to change the body background color. It seems that it changed the color of a strip at the top and bottom of the page, but nothing in between.

Can the page background color be changed from the customizer, or is some additional CSS needed?

If I understand you correctly, the option should be in Customizer > Colors > Content > Background.
