[Support request] Back To Top button conflict when active smooth-scroll behavior smooth

Hi, Generate Press

I would like to use smooth-scroll behavior: smooth to all anchor link on my webpage.

But when I active the smooth-scroll behavior to smooth, the back-to-top button moves very slowly.

I found out that there is ‘smooth-scroll’ class supported by generate-press, however, it doesn’t work for me since I need to add all existing a tags.

Could you give me some advise to change the scroll-behavior for the back-to-top button only?

Hi there,

This certainly seems like a bug. We need to check for the scroll behavior and disable our smooth scroll javascript for the back to top button if it exists.

As of right now, there isn’t a way around this. You would need to disable our back to top button and add your own using a Hook Element. Let us know if you need help with that.

We’ll be sure to fix this in GP 3.1.0.
