Avoid chaining critical requests

Hi,

I was wondering if you had any advice on how to reduce the 'Avoid chaining critical requests' diagnostics in google page speed test?

Do you have any tips on how to solve the ones in the screenshot?

Any help is much appreciated.

Hi there,

one opportunity would be to preload the Google Fonts - looks like you're using WP Rocket and i believe that plugin has a feature for that.

Note: that diagnostic value doesn't actually affect the PSI scores - and you may find preloading the font could negatively affect the FCP time.
