Automaticly different menu for different authors possible?

Hi,
Kind of wierd question maybe, but on one of my websites, I would like to automagicly show a meny with links to the authors posts in different categories like news and updates instead of the main news & updates links, is this even possible for non coder as myself .. =)
Any tips are welcome ..
So instead of the main menu, it should have 2 links, one to news and one to updates and when I visit another author page their should be his category links instead, different links with different authors.
Ohh.. And I renamed the author permalink to "newsroom" as you can see on my page.
I really do not expect you to solve this, just thought I should ask in case you have an easy answer in your head .. =)

Not sure if they will work for the condition you are after though.

Will check them out later, though they seem to not solve my "problem" at first glans.
It´s "Midsummer" here in Sweden, so must go out and dance around the pole today in the rain .. =)
