Hi there,
GP itself doesn’t add any ads at all.
Have you tried disabling your plugins and custom functions that might be adding the ads?
I have the same problem. I have auto ads enabled and I am not able to remove this from Google Ad settings preview mode as the ad does not show there. Is there a css trick that can hide this ad?

What plugin are you using to automatically add the Ads? It would be best to reach out to them regarding this.
