Auto-placed ads in main navigation container

I am having a problem with Ad-sense auto placing ads inside the main navigation. In the past they have auto placed under the main navigation. Somehow now it is being inserted actually into the main navigation bar, making it huge and problematic since my navigation was sticky. On the Adsense side it is indicated it will be under the navigation (sending screenshot) so my only recourse would be to disable that ad area from that end. I hope not to do that. Is there a way I can code something to prevent Google from doing it inside the main-navigation? I added 2 screenshots for reference.

there isn't anything we can do to stop that.
You have to disable them in the adsense editor.
Probably best to contact adsense about it showing in the wrong place.
