Author and Date are still showing on posts

I have de-selected the options to show the author and the dates on the blog posts and pages. However it is still showing. I have purged my cache. Still showing. Suggestions?

the site use a Header Element:
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/header-element-overview/
Go to Appearance > Elements and edit the Header Element that is assigned to Posts.
Within you'll see the HTML content you need to remove the {{post_date}} • {{post_author}}
