Yikes! Like the computer-doof that I am I simply added ALL of the typically helpful Dee’s above CSS (media view for mobiles) using Simple Custom CSS — you know, just to see it overlaid upon my project, the trial-and-error school. Alas, upon deleting the said CSS, the undesired CSS tweaks remain. Question: Is assuming that ‘Simple Custom CSS’ can just be tried out and then deleted if unwanted — is this not how it works?

(Btw, I’m otherwise very happy to find this product and its attendant good vibe!)

Er, it seems as though clearing the cache of the browser took care of it doncha know. It was just indigestion apparently. I’ve opened a window. Look forward to more of this education. Thanks!

My number one reason for asking this here and not out in the WP forum is that I want to stick with what works best with Generate Press.

My biggest concern is getting plugins and having them go obsolete.
I limit myself to as few plugins as possible (Unless I see Tom has recommended the plugin for use)

Hoping to get some feedback on how to layout.

I want my GP landing page to have a layout like the image below.
It seems to me like widgets in the container.
And a sidebar with a thumbnail of recent posts.

The attached pic is for layout purposes only any help appreciated.

Quite a few users have asked for equal height blog post columns – it is a feature I’m going to implement as soon as I have a little time.

For the sidebar there, have you checked out this plugin?: https://wordpress.org/plugins/recent-posts-widget-extended/

    @Dee Broughton:
Hi Dee I saw that you created an awesome Masonry portfolio page in dbpub.com.
That is exactly what I am trying to accomplish.
Previously I have used themes that have a masonry portfolio already installed, but since I discovered Generate Press I try to use it for all my theme developments.
I used a masonry image gallery on my site http://www.sanneart.com, but it only shows images, not posts.
How did you create the portfolio page?
Thanks in advance for your input.

Does anybody know a good plugin or CSS code for putting social media icons (perhaps in circle form) floating & sticky at the bottom of mobile screens? Thanks!
