Aria support for improved accessibility

Hi,
I've read through some of the previous posts about improved accessibility, and I'm really very interested in an update on the use of ARIA - especially for interactions like menus and search.
I understand that the use of semantic HTML is better than bad ARIA, but we are keen to offer a really good experience for all our visitors - and ARIA can help us enhance that.
NB: The UK strengthened the Disability Law for any Government Agency or Univesity that receives public funding. This means that ALL sites must be 100% accessible - so a lot more of us are taking this very seriously :)
Hi there,
GP adds ARIA attributes to all theme elements wherever they are necessary.
For example hamburger icons will have ARIA attributes if they are absent of Menu Label.
Of course we're always looking at improvements - is there anything particular you're finding an issue?
