    Hi GP-Team,

I am currently working on the legal pages on our website.
For GDPR / DSGVO I need to know, if Generate Press (GP Premium) itself does load anything from a 3rd party website / server / CDN, eg. fonts, icons, javascript-code, etc.).

If that is the case, would you please tell me details on that and if there is an option to only load resources from our own webserver?

If nothing is being loaded from external sources I am happy 🙂

    Thank you for your support!
    Best regards, TC

    Hi there,

Apart from Google Fonts selected in the Customizer – no GP does not load any resources from 3rd party servers.

If you want to use Google Fonts then you can serve them locally:

    https://docs.generatepress.com/article/adding-local-fonts/

Or an alternative method to load them is to use the OMGF plugin:

    Hello David,

thank you very much for your help!

The default font in the theme (at least at my installation) is shown as system font “System Stack”.
So: if I do not change the Font to one of the google-group fonts, the system fonts are all served locally?

    Best regards, TC

Thats correct System Stack doesn’t make any font requests it just used the Browser defaults.
