Archives wideget not working

Hello,
For a while now the archive widget isn't working. When you select a month instead of displaying the posts from that month, the website just refreshes and that's it.
I've removed and added the widget several times and it didn't work. Cleared the cache and tried it on various browsers and it's still the same thing.
I've also changed the permalinks form in the permalink settings and it still doesn't work.

Any advice on what to try next?

i don't think the widget is at fault, if i try navigating directly to a date archive it redirects.
Are you using any SEO plugins? As it looks to me as though the Date Archives have been disabled.

You are right, the SEOpress plugin deactivated date archives. I disabled that feature and now the plugin works as intended.
