Archives showing entire post for some blog post and excerpt for others

Hello, I recently upgraded to the 3.0.2 version of Genereate press and I'm now seeing an issue with my blog post in archives.
On my archives page, I have it set to "excerpt" type with an excerpt word count of 25. However, my blog post are now displaying the full content despite the setting. What's ever weirder is its only some posts are showing full display and others are showing except version right next to each other.
