Archive page still shows the search and archive sidebar (in spite of settings)

Hi there,

if that 'page' is set as the Blog then the Meta Boxes in the post editor do not apply - WordPress just ignores them. Instead you can disable them in:

1. Customizer > Layout > Sidebars --> Blog Sidebar Layout

or

2. Use the Layout Element:
