Archive blog "boxes" not displaying correct size on website - Flint Theme
5 replies · Started by Paul on April 28, 2021
Hi,
When I am editing the style and size of my display boxes in the archive editor in elementor, I have found it does not translate the correct sizing onto my website.
No matter what changes I make, the pattern tends to be that it wants to downsize them all the time - as the picture shows - right side is the live website version, and the left side is the saved and up to date archive sizing which should be translating to the website that sizing.
I am working with the Flint Theme.
I've had a look in the code to see if I can discern whether there is an auto change taking place, but I am unsure what to look for.
It'd be great to know if you have some ideas to help solve this issue. Cache is clear and all versions up to date.
Thanks,
Paul
Hi Paul,
Can you link us to the page in question to check?
You can use the private information text field to provide the details. Thank you.
Hi Elvin,
thanks for getting back to me, that's added to the private info text field.
Hi Paul,
Could you go to customizer > layout > blog > Columns and check if it's set to 3?
If so, try uncheck the Display posts in columns box, see if that works.
Let me know :)
Hi Ying,
thanks a lot for the tip - it was set to 3 as you said. I made the change you suggested and now the archive editor changes in elementor reflect properly on my site.
Nice one, thanks for your help!
Paul
You are welcome Paul :)
