Hi there,

Since updating to the most recent versions of your plugin and theme, I am unable to activate a theme from the 'Site Library'. Even after a few hours, it just hangs at 'Importing content'. Can't seem to get past this step anymore. Help would be appreciated, thanks.

Hi Basia,

Can you try importing any theme w/ all plugins disabled except for GP Premium?

Let us know how it goes.

Hi Elvin, how long should this last step take? It's been about 15 minutes and it is still hanging at "Importing content" after trying your suggestion.

Hi there,

can you go Dashboard > Tools > Site Health.
Click Info, and then expand the Server Tab. Then copy and paste the server settings here or provide a screenshot of them.

Hi David,

Sure, here you go:

Server architecture	Linux 3.10.0-962.3.2.lve1.5.61.el7.x86_64 x86_64
Web server	LiteSpeed
PHP version	7.4.24 (Supports 64bit values)
PHP SAPI	litespeed
PHP max input variables	4000
PHP time limit	180
PHP memory limit	128M
PHP memory limit (only for admin screens)	256M
Max input time	120
Upload max filesize	64M
PHP post max size	64M
cURL version	7.79.1 OpenSSL/1.1.1l
Is SUHOSIN installed?	No
Is the Imagick library available?	Yes
Are pretty permalinks supported?	Yes
.htaccess rules	Custom rules have been added to your .htaccess file.

Can you increase the server settings?

These are my defaults.

PHP time limit	1200
PHP memory limit	256M
PHP memory limit (only for admin screens)	256M
Max input time	600
Upload max filesize	300M
PHP post max size	1000M

I am having the same issue. Trying to install the "App" theme and it gets stuck on "importing content". Clean wordpress install with no other plugins installed.

I tried changing the limits and it doesn't help.

Server architecture	Linux 3.10.0-1160.31.1.el7.x86_64 x86_64
Web server	Apache/2.4.6 (CentOS) mpm-itk/2.4.7-04 OpenSSL/1.0.2k-fips PHP/7.4.25
PHP version	8.0.12 (Supports 64bit values)
PHP SAPI	cgi-fcgi
PHP max input variables	1000
PHP time limit	1200
PHP memory limit	256M
Max input time	60
Upload max filesize	1000M
PHP post max size	1000M

I can confirm updating the server settings worked for me. I hope your issue gets resolved soon, Jeana.

Glad to hear that Basia!!

Jeanna, i would try increasing the Max input time to 600
If its still an issue, please raise a new topic where we can do some more debugging.

Thank you both. After reading a few other threads I setup the debug and saw that my server was missing php-xml. That did the trick (without having to increase any of the limits).

Glad to hear you found the solution!!

I did all these changes you suggest but it is not importing. It stucks
