    Hello,

In customizer there is nice settings for “Make first post featured”.
But I don’t want to use the first post but rather my “sticky post” as featured (the one at top of the blog list).

Is there a CSS way for applying those same settings for featured post to the sticky one?

If not, I can also change the date of this sticky post to be the first one and apply the existing setting in Customizer.

    Thanks.

    Hi there,

If you enable Featured Post then this will apply to the very first post – which will be your Sticky post.

Sure, but my problem is that the sticky one is not the very first…
(I have set it as sticky in WP’s visibility settings)

Can you enable the Featured Post so i can see what the issue is ?

Sorry for wasting your time, problem solved.
I was wrong and thought that the Featured Post needed the very first post by date but I realize that it works with the Sticky Post as it automatically becomes the first one at the page.

Featured Posts simply targets whatever post is at the top of the list 🙂 Glad to be of help.
