    Hi there,

I’m working with the Explore theme. I’ve created some custom post types, with their own custom taxonomies and archives. But even after applying the elements from this category archive page, I cannot get the same cards and side-by-side layout on my site.

On my CPT archive page, I have the following elements, which are the same elements used by the default category archives:

      Archive Hero
      Archive Cards
      Archive Navigation
      Footer
      Mobile Menu Icons.

You can see the current layout in the private information area.

What am I missing here to get the exact same layout as this page?

    Hi there,

Is the Archive cards element applied to the CPT achieve a loop template or a content template?

It should be a loop template based on the Travel tips archive page, but on your CPT achieve page, it’s using a block element – content template.

    let me know!

    Hi @Ying!

Thanks for your reply. Hmm, looking at the Elements in the backend, I do see that the Archive cards are of the type “Block – Content Template”.

When I change it to be a “Block – Loop Template” I see it’s misconfigured. I must have done something to break the Element’s layout, query loop, etc, because I just installed the default Explore theme on a test site and everything is totally different for this Element.

What do you recommend here? I copied the code from the test site over to a new Element (I named it “Archive Cards-2”) on the site I’m working on, and it seems to have fixed the problem. Would that be enough? Or if there’s a way to export an Element and import it into a new site, that sounds like an even better solution.

    Thanks!

    Hi Rafael,

What you did – copying and pasting – should be good.
