Applying Element to Woo Comemrce Product Category

Hi there,
I am trying to create a custom header and layout and apply to a Woo Commerce Archive Category page.
But it does not seem to work.
For example, I have created a width and header in DISPLAY RULES applied it to PRODUCT, PRODUCT ARCHIVE, PRODUCT CATEGORY and POST CATEGORY ARCHIVE.
It shows in the individual product template:
https://websitealchemy.com/product/sample-2/
But not in the category:
https://websitealchemy.com/product-category/love/
Any ideas what I am missing here?
Many thanks!
Hi John,
If that’s the case, you’ll have to have your Element displayed to Product Category Archive as well.
Example: https://share.getcloudapp.com/xQuq2Oy2
Can you try adding Product Category Archive in your display rules locations and see how it goes?
Kindly let us know. :)
Excellent - thank you- thought I had ticked them all but missed that one.
Appreciate your input Fernando
You’re welcome John! :)
One final thing - I see now that a left sidebar appears in this category page:
https://websitealchemy.com/product-category/love/
This sidebar was setup for Learndash Courses - any idea of how to turn this using GeneratePress?
Or anywhere else for that matter??
Thanks again
To clarify, should your product category archive pages have a sidebar?
Are you using a Layout Element already? While looking at the page, if you hover on Elements in the admin bar, do you see a Layout Element?
Kindly let us know. :)
Ah yes - I had ticked sidebar/layout by mistake - couldn't figure that out.
Thanks again and have a great day!
You’re welcome John! Have a great day as well! :)
