Applying Color to Heading 2 Made It "Go Skinny"

Hello,

So far so good with this theme, but I did notice one issue WRT the typography: When I applied a custom color to a Heading 2 via the settings for the Section, the text "went skinny" instead of remaining bold.

Is this expected behavior?

Unfortunately, my site is not released yet. If the above is not enough to go on, then I'll post back when I can give a URL to an example page.

Hi David,

Harumph... the problem here is between the monitor and the keyboard. Too much copy/paste.

I have <strong/> around the heading text (inside the H tags) for all the headings except the main heading.

I just added <strong/> to the main heading and it looks as I would have expected.

Sorry for the false positive.

Question though: Without <strong/> the headings look weak (default everything). Am I driving the theme wrongly to use <strong/> tags? Is there a better way?

Hi Chris, you can set the weight of your headings in the Customiser > Typography > Headings
